Editing levels (1–4) for new book projects

When you create a book project, you can choose an Editing level from 1 to 4.

Higher editing levels run more editing cycles to improve:

  • polish and readability,
  • alignment with your instructions (best effort).

Pricing

Each editing level adds +15% per level to the base price.

Examples (relative to base price):

  • Level 1: +15%
  • Level 2: +30%
  • Level 3: +45%
  • Level 4: +60%

Youbooks always shows the exact quote and breakdown in the Order Summary before you submit.

What editing can and can’t do

Editing helps, but it doesn’t create “perfect” writing.

Editing is best for:

  • improving clarity and flow
  • reducing redundancy
  • fixing inconsistencies

Editing is not a guarantee for:

  • “zero repetition”
  • perfect factual accuracy
  • perfectly matching a very niche ideological framing

If you need heavy customization, consider doing multiple targeted edits after export.
