Do I need sources?

No. Content Sources are optional.

Sources help when you want the book grounded in your own material, but many books work fine from a prompt alone.

Can Youbooks write my book idea exactly as I imagined it?

Youbooks can’t read minds. If you have a very specific vision, spell it out clearly in the prompt.

Even then, expect to do some editing — AI won’t match a personal vision perfectly.

Does Youbooks add citations?

No. Youbooks does not include citations inside books by default.

If you need citations, add them during your editing pass after export.

Can I cancel a project after it starts?

Only if you enabled Request TOC Approval (BETA) — cancellation is available during TOC approval for a 2,000 credit fee.

Otherwise, projects can’t be canceled or paused after submission.

Do you support team accounts?

Not currently.
