Create a Content Source

To use sources in a book project, you must create them first.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Content Sources in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add a new source.
  3. Enter a Source Name.
  4. Upload one or more files (text documents).
  5. Wait a moment while Youbooks counts words and previews the upload.
  6. Review the credit cost for creating the source.
  7. Click Add Source.
  8. Wait for processing to complete. Large sources can take hours to finish processing.

When the source shows Ready, you can attach it to a book project.

Pricing

Creating a source is a one-time fee based on the number of words uploaded:

  • 1 credit per uploaded word (one-time fee)

Using that source in a book project does not cost extra credits.
