What Youbooks includes

  • Full manuscript content
  • An index

What Youbooks does not include (by default)

  • KDP-ready formatting / print trim layout
  • Cover images
  • In-book images (illustrations, diagrams)
  • Preface / acknowledgements / references sections

What you should do before publishing

  1. Export MD or DOCX
  2. Edit for:
    • your voice
    • accuracy
    • compliance (if publishing on a marketplace)
  3. Format in your preferred tool (Word styles, Atticus, Vellum, etc.)
  4. Create a cover separately
